Ali Reviews - Upgrade to the new version of review widget
We are delighted to inform you that we have just released a new version of the review widget. We are processing to migrate the users to the new widget gradually, please contact our support if you have any question.
In this version:
We applied the new technology according to Shopify latest update to make sure the app worked well with theme OS 2.0 and increased the loading speed of the review widget
New widget design, more powerful customization options
Support multiple languages for widget content
UPGRADING PROCESS
When you enter Show reviews section, we will be able to see the notification banner on the top of the page. Please click Discover now to start processing the upgrade.
We will walk you through the re-setup steps for each widget. It will keep some basic settings from the old widget but it also require to redo some customization.
Review box: applied the new design and customization. Please be noted that the review box is only automatically added on the product page. If you had it on other pages such as Homepage, Collection page, etc. you will need to re-add them again. Kindly check this article for detailed instruction
Star ratings: applied the new design
Review popup: applied the new design, the review popup will be shown on all pages. You can contact our support team in case you only want to show it on specific pages.
Carousel slider: applied the new design, old carousel slider will be removed and you will need to set up the widget via app block after upgrading. Please check the instruction here
After checking all the settings, please confirm to process the upgrade. The process will take a few seconds (maximum 1 minute). During this time, the old widgets will be replaced by the new ones.
