Ali Reviews new widget - How do I manually add the Review Box by copying code?
Normally, the review box widget will automatically enable on your product page after the app embed has been enabled. For non-product pages, you can add the review box widget via app block.
However, there are some situations where the review box has not shown on your online store, such as
You are using a page builder app that has created some special product templates.
Your website has some technical problems, which will prevent Ali Reviews from working well.
You are using a special theme that cannot be recognized by our app.
In this article we will guide you how to add the review box widget manually via coding. Please check bellow for detailed instruction
Please make sure you toggle on the Core Snippet in the Shopify Editor App Embed Block:
Access to Ali Reviews app → Show Reviews → Click the button Customize in the Review Box section.
Turn on the review box widget from the toggle button on the top left.
From Install widget section. kindly expand the Add widgets manually section and copy the entire code in the Copy Code box.
Go to your Online Store → Themes. In the current theme section, choose Edit code action. Open the file that you want to add the Review Box, then paste the code that you copied wherever you want. Click Save the file. OR open the Page Builder app and place the code on the position you want.
