Definitely you heard about Shopify Market, which a new feature of Shopify has been launched recently.

So if you have not set up Shopify Market and made it compatible with Transcy, your visitors might meet the 404 Page not found error when switching to target languages on switcher.

Thus, we would proactively prepare an instruction in ready to help you solve this issue by yourself that will help your customers experience your site smoohtly and avoid getting the 404 Page not found error.

Also, this article will help you clear the meaning of some messages that you might see when you add/publish target language in our app.

This is the Market status of a target language which indicates this language has been enabled yet or not in your Markets.

Please note that Shopify Market is compatible with only Advance language

Yes: Enabled in Shopify Market

No: Not enabled yet in Shopify Market

In case your target language is not enabled yet (No status), you will be redirected to Manage Market setting in Shopify admin to process that.

Our system will check and first detect your target language (Advance language) has been enabled/disabled in Shopify Market, then will notice this popup in Language menu if you try to publish target language while it's still not enabled yet in Market

NOTE: In case you have enabled target language for your Market settings but still see this popup, please kindly wait around 1 minute for the app sync the market data.

Similarly to the case (2), in Manage Content, when you have done to bulk translate all resources but still not set up target language for Market yet, will show the above warning popup to alert when you try to publish language

In Language menu, in case you delete a target Advance language, you might see this popup to alert
