Transcy - How to edit translated content manually in app?
Your store already has full translation in target languages but in some cases, after you update or change new default contents on certain pages, you might need to get back the app to translate those contents again or edit its translation manually by yourself to update new translation.
This article will help you understand how to edit target translation properly based on checking the translation status of element/page/section.

Fristly, please kindly check its status in app then go to right page/section in app that you want to update the translation.
In each page/element, you could easily check all statuses.
There are 4 translation statuses you may see on Status column including Partially translated, Untranslated, Translated, Translating.
Please click here to understand more about all translation statuses.
If your default content on some pages have been changed then the translation status would be updated to Partially translated that means you need to go back to that page in app to translate its content again to update new translation.
Translation --> Manage translation --> select target language --> open a particular page to check the translation status fully.
You could replace/edit your translation content manually for any pages/elements in your store easily.
Open Translation --> Manage translation --> select target language --> choose the page type
Example: Product

Choose which product page you want to edit the translation --> Edit button

Choose element you want to edit the content in the target translation section at the right side --> Save
Check the edited translation on your online store
NOTE:
(*) You can use Editor tool in-app to bold/underline/hyperlink, insert image, etc for your description translation.
(*) Please be noted that the app uses Editor tool outside and they only support Latin characters so we recommend you should save the file name with Latin characters before uploading. Otherwise, it might pop the notification below

(*) For inserted image size limit is maximum 10MB

If you have changed any default content by a new content in Shopify. You could edit translated content or re-translate content in any particular page manually in Manage translation to update new translation accordingly.
Example: You have changed the title of a specific product in Shopify previously and need to re-translate content in-app to update the new translation for this product title.

Go back to the app --> Manage translation --> select target language --> choose Product type --> choose the product page that you want to re-translate the title --> click on Edit button
Choose product name element --> click on Translate button --> By machine

Confirm to re-translate --> Translate now

The app has re-translated and updated the new translation for the product title --> click Save to finish

Then get back to your product page on online store --> choose the target language on Switcher --> view the result.

NOTE: Please be advised that you can only edit the translation for Advanced language type, please check out here to learn more.
In case you already edit default content of an element(s) in a page resource but you want to keep current element's translation and no need to edit its translation. In this case, you can just mark its translation status as "Translated" for better management and recognization. Click here to learn more.
