WordPress - What is Auto switch language in Transcy plugin?
With Auto switch language function, your customer will be redirected to your website in their local language automatically based on their location/country or customer's browser language.
This function is only available in Starter plan
Both Basic and Advanced language are applicable
Detected language is target language already added in the plugin and in Published status.
Added target languages are translated completely
From WordPress admin, tap any menu on Transcy plugin, you'll be directed to our separated plugin at https://wp.transcy.io
More settings --> Geolocation --> turn on Auto switch language button
Here are 2 options Customer's location and Customer's browser language so you can feel free to select one sutiable with your needs.
Customer's location: detect vistor/customer's address IP --> direct to target language of the vistor automatically
Customer's browser language: automatically direct to target language according to customer's browser language
The system will base on the list of all countries along with corresponding local language provided from a 3rd-party service, the system will auto detect customer's location or customer's browser language (depends on your setting) and help your customers landed on website in their proper local language.
Example:
- You have added French language as Advanced language and published it in the plugin.
- Also, you have translated all pages on website fully in French language.
- You enabled Auto switch language function and set Customer's location in Geolocation.
- After all has been set up, your friend in France visiting your site will be landed on French language automatically without using switcher. Of course, your friend can switch to other languages by switcher if he wants
Note: In case, the detected language is out of your added target languages in plugin or you have not published target language yet, the system will show default language (store language) on your site.
