WordPress - What is "Auto update translation" function and how to set up this function in Transcy plugin?

Auto Translate or Auto update translation function which help you update the translation for new contents or changes in existing Products, Pages and Posts automatically.

Example: You have changed the product name of a product in WordPress site (default language) and already set up Auto translate function for that product page, the plugin will detect new content of the product name and translate that new content automatically to update your product translation in target languages.


Currently we only support to set up Auto update translation for resources Product, Page, Post in Starter plan with the limitation on the number of page added to the list below:

Product: add up to 100 Products, 100 Product Catagories

Post: add up to 100 Posts, 100 Post Catagories

Page: add up to 100 Pages

All actions to manage the language translation are implemented directly in our separated plugin at []. To login our separated plugin, please tap Language menu in WordPress site then you will be redirected to this site []

Firstly kindly check to make sure that you have added Advanced language to start set up Auto update translation function. More details on how to set up language, please visit here.

After you have set up your target languages translation (Advanced language) successfully then you could add your preferred products, posts, pages to Auto Translate list to keep all contents of them always up-to-date swiftly just some simple steps as the following:

From our separated plugin --> Auto Translate menu --> click on Set up now

Choose the target language (Advanced language) you want to set up Auto translate

Choose Page type (Products, Posts, Pages) that you want to set up then add to the list

Please check and make sure you have added products/posts/pages to WordPress site already before starting setup.

Example: Select some products in Product source and add them to the list of Auto Translate

You can enable [Auto translate new product] button on the popup above to set auto sync and update the translation whenever a new product added.

Publish pages in the list to make Auto translate work

Please note that you can enable [Auto translate and update new resource] button to help auto sync and translate new products, posts, pages automatically. Please kindly pay attention on the Limitation noticed above if you might reach so you can just delete/remove the old pages to continue setting auto translation for new pages.

>> You could search the product/collection title on Search bar to find the item you want and do action such as remove or preview any page in Auto translate list to check the result.

>> Publish/unpublish any specific page or do action in bulk to activate or stop Auto Translate setup

>> You can find a specific page by Search bar also View details or Publish/Unpublish/Remove or bulk action many resources at the same time.

>> In case you bulk remove many pages, there will be a popup to confirm this action.

In case downgrading plan, page's status will be Unpublish by default, you need to publish the page according to your plan limitation to make it active with Auto Translate function. Click here to learn more function limit on per plan.

You can only publish Product/Post/Page to Auto Translate list according to your added page number limit on each plan.

Example: In case you're in Startre plan and get the limit reached with 100 Posts published in the Auto Translate list for instance. So you can't add/publish more in this case, please reselect and only publish pages that you need on your website. We've still been trying to improve this limit better in the near future.


Auto translate languages: There are Advanced languages that you have set up before in your language setting so you could choose one or more options to keep your translation updated constantly. Porducts/Posts/Pages that you add in Auto translate list will be applied for selected Advance languages.
