WordPress - What kinds of URL format supported in Transcy plugin?
In the latest version, we bring out the option can help you select and configure a proper URL format to display website URL according to each language as you want.
Basic URL format (Language URLs as Parameters) : is available from Free plan
Advanced URL format (Language URLs as sub-directories): is only available in Starter plan
Basic and Advanced language is applicable for both URL format types above
Language URLs as sub-directories: the store must:
Server setting: Apache’s rewrite module must be enabled (if the user can't access the server settings, they can contact Hosting provider for further help)
Pretty permalink structure: your site must use pretty permalink structure. Learn more Permalink here.
From WordPress admin, tap any menu on Transcy plan, you'll be directed to our separated plugin at [https://wp.transcy.io] for further management.
More settings --> URL format
There are 2 options including Language URLs as Parameters and Language URLs as sub-directories

You can choose one of these 2 options to get how your website URL displayed on store-front when switching between languages.
Please notice the plan limitation mentioned above for your current plan.
Example: your blog is http://flowerstore.com/example-blog?key1=value123
protocol: http://
website name: flowerstore
domain: .com
sub-directories: example-blog
parameters: ?key1=value123
When you select Language URLs as Parameters option, your customers change to French language on switcher, they will see your website looks like this
http://flowerstore.com/example-blog?lang=fr
With ?lang=fr is parameters
If you select Language URLs as sub-directories option, your customers change to French language on switcher, they will see your website looks like this
http://flowerstore.com/example-blog/fr
With /fr is sub-directories
Please notice the requirement for each URL format to get the best result.
