[Ali Reviews Feature Removal Update] 6 Features Retiring on January 25th, 2024
We are pleased to inform you about upcoming changes. Certain features will be discontinued effective January 25th, 2024.
We will remove the Copy, Move review features and the option to unpublish reviews to comply with Shopify's latest policies on transparent reviews. However, any existing reviews using the Copy and Move features will remain visible and unchanged.
Previous unpublished reviews will stay in the Unpublish tab despite removing the option to unpublish. If you encounter offensive or irrelevant reviews, you can delete them instead of unpublishing them.
We are constantly working on improving our app to provide the best possible experience for our customers. As a part of this effort, we have decided to discontinue the SMS review requests feature. We are focusing on other ways to collect valuable customer reviews.
All previously submitted reviews via SMS review requests will continue to be displayed.
We understand that you may have previously topped up your account for this feature, and we are committed to providing you with the best possible support. To receive a refund for your top-up, please contact our customer support team via in-app live chat. Our team is always ready and eager to help you with any questions or concerns that you may have regarding your refund.
To make leaving reviews simple and convenient for everyone, and enhance the user experience, we are removing the QR code request generator and Social review request.
Please note that all previously created reviews using this feature will remain accessible.
After thorough consideration, we have also decided to remove the Custom Questions feature. This step is crucial in our ongoing effort to simplify and enhance the usability of your storefront. While the Custom Questions feature was useful for detailed reviews, its removal was necessary to create a more straightforward and hassle-free experience for your customers and visitors.
If you have already showcased custom questions on your review widget, they will no longer be visible on your storefront starting January 25th, 2024.
