Ali Reviews - Why can't I import reviews via Ali Express? Import reviews is not working?

PREREQUISITES

In order to import reviews successfully, at first please make sure that you have met these following requirements:

1. Make sure there are reviews showing on Customer reviews tab on Ali Express.

If there's no review here, Ali Reviews will not able to import, and you will need to find another product link to get reviews.

If it asks you to verify, please kindly slide the button to verify. Then the reviews will show up.

2. The Review box widget is presented properly on your Product page as the below

3. The link of product you want to get reviews on AliExpress.com is correct.

Your product URLs MUST look like:
[https://www.aliexpress.com/item/long-tails-product-keywords]

Here're some examples of product links whose URLs are INCORRECT:

- [https://m.aliexpress.com/item/long-tails-product-keywords]

- [https://www.aliexpress.us/item/long-tails-product-keywords]

- [https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/long-tails-product-keywords]

Ali Reviews - How to fill review data in CSV file?

CSV file structure

There are 8 main columns in the CSV file as the following:

Customer country code (Alpha-2 code)
Product ID
Customer name
Rating
Content
Customer email (Optinal)
Published date
Image Link (Optional)

How to fill data properly and import successfully

Firstly, please make sure to NOT rename and/or add new/remove any of existing columns.

Secondly, please check below information to have full understanding about which data should be put in each column. Otherwise, you might get an error and will not be able to import CSV file successfully.

Customer country code

Please check this article to find the right country code

Product ID OR Product Handle

Product ID is the last part (number) of your product URL from Shopify admin

NOTE: please make sure the Product ID is filled in correct Number format. You can right click on the Product ID row --> Choose Format Cells --> Number without decimals

Product handle is the last part of product URL (This data is used when you used the template from the other apps)

For example: https://ali-reviews-demo.myshopify.com/products/luxury-men-watch

--> Then luxury-men-watch is Product handle

Customer name

The name will appear on the review exactly as inserted in

Ali Reviews - How to import reviews from AliExpress?

From August 18, 2022 we have generally changed our app to an embedded app on Shopify dashboard, so that you can performance all the actions through the app section on Shopify admin

Please follow bellow steps to import reviews from Ali Express:

We suggest you to use Chrome for desktop with Ali Reviews Extension installed to have a prompt importing process Note: Reload the app before starting import reviews on the first time
Open Import Reviews on the app menu-> AliExpress tab
Check Import Settings before importing to get the reviews matching with your filter.
Click Import reviews button and paste your AliExpress product link. All done! Your reviews should be imported within 10-15 sec.

While waiting for the import process of one product, you can move to another one and start importing reviews for it.
To save time searching for the product URL, we offer you a new feature for searching product's URL with Google lens. You will be able to search for the links related to your products and find Ali Express links that match your products.

Ali Reviews - How to show Review Widget on online store?

We aim to help you set up your review widgets in the most efficient and easy way. You can add/ manage/ edit the widget's settings quickly in-app. Please go to Show reviews section and follow the instruction bellow.

This article includes 3 main points:

Add review widgets
Manage widgets

Go to Show reviews section from the menu

Select a widget you want to add --> click on "Quick add" button --> select the page

Note:

Pages which cannot add more widget will not show on the Quick add section. Please press Manage to view the current widget of those pages
Ali Reviews supports to add Review widget on multi templates on Product and Collection (themes which use Online Store 2.0)

Ali Reviews - Can I translate the review's content and the local text of the app?

Customize the text of the review widget

You can manually customize the text of the Review box as your want.

Please go to Show reviews --> Review Widgets --> Manage the widget on Product page
In Appearance tab --> Open Customize text section then edit the text as your desire

Remember to save the Customize text and Save the Review box widget after done editing

Customize the Rating text

Please go to Show reviews--> open the Stars Rating section

Translate the content of reviews from Ali Express

We use the Translation provided by Ali Express platform.
Please set up the Import settings before importing reviews from Ali Express. Go to Collect reviews > Collect From Ali Express> Import settings > Translate Content / or you can change the settings when importing reviews, tick on the Translate Content.

NOTE

|| Our app will import the latest reviews from AliExpress by default. However, with reviews that are within 7 days might not be converted to the chosen language after importing review. Because it has not yet been translated into mulitiple languages by AliExpress. Therefore, although you choose translating your review into French as an example,
